Teen hit over head and has glasses stolen in vicious Halifax attack

Police are appealing for information after a teenage boy was assaulted and robbed in Halifax.

It happened between 5.30pm and 5.45pm on Friday, November 3, in Northgate, close to the bus station. The 17-year-old was hit on the head and had his glasses stolen and damaged when he was attacked by a group of youths.

Enquiries suggest there were people in the area at the time and anyone who may have witnessed this incident is asked to contact Calderdale District Investigation Team on 101, or by using the livechat facility on the West Yorkshire Police website.
