10 London Broncos
Danny Ward’s side are quietly piecing together some impressive form in the Championship.
London made it four league wins on the spin on Sunday, with a strong second half performance leading to a 38-24 win against Swinton Lions in the capital. However, their promotion push will be put to the test this weekend, when they travel to face in-form Featherstone in West Yorkshire.
9 Batley Bulldogs
It was a disappointing weekend for Craig Lingard’s Batley on Sunday, with the Bulldogs losing out at home to West Yorkshire rivals Halifax Panthers. However, fifth-placed Batley remain firmly in the mix for the play-offs following a strong start to 2021.
8 Warrington Wolves
Despite the disappointment of missing out on an appearance at Wembley, Warrington’s league form continues to impress. The Wolves were winners again at the weekend, this time defeating relegation-threatened Leigh Centurions to strengthen their claim for a play-off place.
7 Hull Kingston Rovers
With a Covid-19 outbreak running through Hull KR, the Robins drop down four places in this week’s rankings after their game with reigning champions St Helens was postponed.
The Dons continued their fine start to the new League 1 season on Sunday, travelling to the Midlands and picking up a hard-earned victory against Coventry Bears to keep the heat on Barrow Raiders at the top of the table.
5 Halifax Panthers
What a run of form the Panthers are on!
Simon Grix’s side further strengthened their claim for a play-off place in the Championship with a huge victory on Sunday, beating West Yorkshire rivals Batley Bulldogs to climb up to sixth place in the table.
4 Toulouse Olympique
The Championship’s top two were at it again at the weekend!
Toulouse returned to action with a bang, recording an eighth consecutive win in the league with an impressive 54-6 victory against Sheffield Eagles to continue to set the pace at the top of the Championship.
3 Barrow Raiders
The League 1 pacesetters were forced to settle for a point on Sunday following a pulsating Cumbrian derby with Workington Town. However, despite that 24-24 draw, the Raiders are still very much the team to beat in the third tier this season.
2 Catalans Dragons
Les Dracs continue to lead the way in Super League.
Catalans returned to action with a well-worked, hard-earned victory at Castleford Tigers last week, and they now have nine wins from the opening ten games of the Championship season. Are they realistic Grand Final contenders?
1 Featherstone Rovers
Ten games, ten wins.
There’s no stopping white-hot Featherstone Rovers right now, and they continue to set the pace in our rankings following another big win at the weekend, this time comfortably dispatching Newcastle Thunder on Saturday.
