Dozens of adorable babies were born in Yorkshire on New Year’s Day.
Among the first to arrive was a little baby girl in Bradford, delighting her mum Sanam Kousar.
Between midnight and 4pm on January 1, 13 babies were born at Bradford Royal Infirmary.
Nine of them were girls and four of them boys with the first baby being born at 12.30am.
The baby girl was then followed by Vogue, who weighed 4lbs 9oz, and was welcomed by mum Natalie Feather and partner Conor Swales at 12.34am.
Next was Violet Cuthbert at 7lbs 7oz. She was born at 4.29am, delighting her parents Natasha and Jordan.
Another baby girl entered the world at 8.05am weighing 8lbs 9oz.
Parents Nikola Tokarova and Lukas Horvath have yet to decide on a name.
The first baby of the new year welcomed by Calderdale and Huddersfield Maternity Services was baby girl Margo.
She is the first child of Heather Rees and Jordan Lomas who are from Huddersfield.
Margo was delivered by Midwife Tanya Wardle of the Florence team who had provided all the antenatal care for Heather during her pregnancy, under the new continuity of care model.
Margo was born at 5.08am weighing 7lb 7oz.
The second baby born on New Year’s day at the hospital was also a girl.
Erin was born at 5.43am to Aileen Calcott and Martin Young of Halifax.
She was delivered by Caesarean section and mum is looking forward to introducing Erin to her big sister Eva who is 5-years-old.
Erin weighed 7lb 3oz.
At St James Hospital in Leeds, proud parents Rebecca and Ben Tidmarsh welcomed a son named Samuel.
The baby boy arrived at 3.01am, weighing 4,235g.
