Man suffers serious injuries after crashing into parked car in Halifax

A man has suffered “serious injuries” after crashing into a park car while driving on a residential road in Halifax.

Police are now appealing for witnesses following the serious road traffic collision in last night (Saturday).

At around 11.10pm, a blue Citroen C2 car was travelling on Turner Avenue North, Ovenden, in the direction of Raw Lane when it crashed into a parked grey Peugeot 308.

A spokeswoman for West Yorkshire Police said: “The driver of the vehicle, a man in his 30s, sustained serious injuries in the collision and remains in hospital.

“Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the vehicle driving in the area prior to the collision to get in touch.”

The Roads Policing Unit would also like to hear from anyone who has dashcam footage of the vehicle driving in the area prior to the collision or footage of the collision itself.
