Man ‘goes round Halifax bar taking pictures up woman’s skirts’

Police are appealing for witnesses after a report of a man taking upskirt pictures of a woman in a Halifax bar.

West Yorkshire Police are investigating the report, which referred to an incident of the man taking images between 3am and 4am at Yates Bar in Halifax on March 3. Calderdale District Police are hoping to speak to the victim who first made the report but didn’t identify herself.

Police have arrested and bailed a man, 46, on suspicion of voyeurism. Enquiries are continuing into the report.

PC Andy Holmes of Calderdale Police, said: “We are continuing our investigation into this reported incident and I would like to speak with any victims who may have become aware of being filmed in this manner but have not come forwards. We would particularly like to speak with a female victim who first made the report but did not identify herself to officers.
