11 Jan Halifax Railway Station consultation now extended to 30 January.
If you’re keen to let us know about the designs for Halifax railway station but haven’t been able to find the time to complete a survey – worry not as we’ve now extended the deadline for feedback by two weeks. You now have up until Sunday 30 January to give us your thoughts.
With over £30m of funding from the West Yorkshire Combined Authority, we have the opportunity to transform Halifax Railway Station, improving the travel experience, providing a boost to the local economy and creating a station that matches the ambitions we have for our town.
We ran a public consultation last year to get your initial feedback and since then we’ve further updated and shaped these plans. We now want to hear from you on these latest designs.
Take a look at the latest plans for the new two-story building, the iconic foot bridge and the re opening of the underpass. See the designs, watch the flythrough videos and tell us what you think. If you have suggestions or changes, we’d like to hear from you and if you love the plans, please let us know. All opinions are welcomed!
Below is a link to the consultation page on West Yorkshire Combined Authority’s ‘Your Voice’ website where you can see the designs and videos and complete the survey.
