Tribute to Rachmaninov – A Special Concert in Halifax

Celebrate the legacy of one of the greatest composers of all time with Tribute to Rachmaninov—a chamber music concert dedicated to the beauty, depth, and emotion of his works. Join us on April 1st, 2025, at the Peggy Corkum Music Room for an evening of expressive and powerful music performed by exceptional musicians.

This program features some of Rachmaninov’s most beloved chamber pieces, including selections from his Elegiac Trio and Cello Sonata—works that showcase both his deep lyricism and virtuosic brilliance. His music carries themes of longing, nostalgia, and hope, making this concert a moving experience for both devoted fans and those discovering his work for the first time.
