West Yorkshire Police officers closed a main road in Halifax after a high speed crash.
Traffic officers closed the A646 Burnley Road at the junction with Windle Royd Lane following a crash in the early hours of Sunday morning.
West Yorkshire Police said the driver had failed to stop and had driven at more than 100mph.

The car ended up overturning and coming to rest in the middle of Burnley Road.
Photographs from the scene show debris scattered across the road and a badly damaged car.
Images from the scene were tweeted by a traffic officer who said the driver had been under the influence of cannabis.
The officer tweeted: “Halifax! When you fail to stop for police at in excess of 100mph as (sic) crash putting your car on its roof don’t be under influence of cannabis as well!”
